Exhibition Stands and the Nine Principles of Art and Design

It is all around you.

It can be found in music and architecture. It is present in fine food and wine, dance and even in lifestyle.

Hidden just below the surface, in every area of life, there is an unseen force working its wonders.

It is the subtle balance between one and zero, the grey area between “function dictates form” and a piece of fine art.

It is the colourful area between the grey areas.

It is the golden thread that has weaved its way through time, appearing in many different forms throughout the ages.

It also appears in every one of our JAWBONE stands.

In music, it represents the subtle forces between the notes, holding them together, allowing them to work in harmony to form beautiful classical symphonies, Rock and Roll or Dub Step.

In architecture, it can be found in the mighty spires of the ancient Roman Empire, and the mind-blowing technical masterpieces in modern day Dubai; It allows space to become not just a place, but a way of life.

In fine food and wine, it is the way flavours are composed to work together, carefully designed to create a particular taste, sensation and feeling.

In dance it is the way the various elements work in unison; smaller parts creating a larger picture, ultimately telling a story that transports a person to a different place and time.

In lifestyle it is the way we design our existence, using everything at our fingertips, forging our way into a future we choose; It is the macrocosm in a microcosm.

By using the principles of art and design we are able to bridge the gap between observation and immersion. By breaking the boundaries of the “observer trap” a person can become the experience.

By following strict guideline principles, offering choice, encouraging uniqueness and a deep understanding of a clients’ needs; We facilitate a human connection to the once inanimate physical world of the exhibition stand and combine it with the human experience to create something completely new.

And we’ve only just begun to scratch the surface.

Here they are in no particular order.

The Nine Principles of Art and Design

  1. Balance
  2. Rhythm
  3. Composition
  4. Contrast
  5. Movement
  6. Repetition
  7. Colour

Our designs are based on these principles. We’ve combined years of technical experience and passion for the principles of art and design to incorporate and explore new dimensions.

We have entered into a different level in the world of exhibitions, one that encompasses the imagination to create a deeper experience. Space where we are constantly pushing boundaries and growing with our clients.

The principles of art and design are a tool for whoever will use them if used correctly and with the right ingredients can yield outstanding results.

Our work moves you and tells a story of who you are. Our work shows the world something incredibly important: That your brand is alive.
