Voltex approached us to do an exciting new interactive exhibition stand at the 2019 KZN Industrial Technology Expo.

The brief was to create a stand that was easily recognizable as the Voltex Brand, something that stood out from the rest of the crowd and something that was interactive; and allowed prospective clients to engage with the products on a first-hand basis.

Voltex is affiliated to Bidvest, so we made sure that the majority of the stand was the eye-catching “Bidvest Blue”. In the centre of two custom made two massive “slanted” shelves which we placed a 3,2-metre triangular lightbox.

This by far the biggest lightbox we have ever made, it has over 2500 LED’s inside it and has a special cooling system built into the aluminium backing.
The fabric lightbox system was finished off with a striking electricity bolt that is visible from kilometres away, making the stand proudly Voltex.

We then created five individual panels, each one had to be strong enough to hold heavy-duty industrial products from some of the different divisions of Voltex: LSIS, Electech, Lascon, and Phambile.

Next, we gave each panel its own high strength spotlight, added some 42-inch monitors for video content and mounted everything inside the customised high strength aluminium framework.

As usual, special attention was given to the health and safety requirements (one of Jawbones specialities) and we passed the stringent safety requirement test of the Durban Exhibition Centre with flying colours.
